Tuensang District Task Force for COVID 19 held meeting on 15th January 2020 at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang on Vaccine administration process. Kumar Ramnikant IAS DC & Chairman DTF Tuensang chaired the meeting.

The National COVID 19 Vaccination inaugural day will be held on 16th of January 2021. There will be a total 14 session stations for Tuensang and the DC advised all TDF members to have a collective effort in all the vaccination processes.

Dr. Thungchanpeni DIO (UIR& RCH) highlighted the details on session plan preparations and vaccinators’ officials and its work plans. Tuensang district has received 1650 dose for 743 beneficiaries out of total 1740 registered for the first phase she said. She also explained on the logistics of the while vaccination processes. Covishield is genetically engineered vaccine exclusively for adults above 18 years of aged she said. DIO apprised the members for need of manpower in the coming phases of vaccination.

DC also apprised to set up control room to reach out to the beneficiaries for the second round of vaccination process.
