Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 held a meeting at DC’s Conference Hall on 3rd August 2021 and the meeting was chaired by DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant.
The DC applauded the achievement of HODs contribution on intensive vaccination drive in the district. He also asked the tribal leaders to intervene in villages which are yet to get vaccinated and make them understand about an individual’s role to remain safe from the pandemic.
The members also reviewed the Unlock 4 for the district. The increasing positivity rate of the district within this week was also a concern discussed in the meeting. Addendum for reopening of schools was also reviewed and decided that the respective education officers of the town and sub divisions are to spot verify the schools as per the SOP check list and to certify for reopening of the schools and the same shall be endorsed to DTF.
Closure of the Government Polytechnic, Sedem CCC on account of reopening of the institution was also discussed and earmarked 11th of August for closure at the meantime new CCC will be established at district hospital Tuensang.
The house also discussed on enhancing of vaccination and the COVID testing in the district.
