Teaching Learning Materials (TLM) Distribution camp for persons with intellectual disabilities, organized by NIEPID, Prodigals Home & DDRC Dimapur, was held at DDRC, District Hospital, Dimapur on 15th June 2022 with Director, Census Operations/ citizen Registration Nagaland. Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, Anoop Khinchi, IAS as special guest.

Khinchi thanked the Institute for providing the differently able persons with TLM kits to help them learn more easily. He requested the parents to take full advantage of the tools and encouraged them to work hard and try to let them learn and live a normal and better life.

Officer in charge, NIEPID, RC, Navi Mumbai Dr. Ravi Prakash Singh demonstrated a brief usage of the Kits and informed that training will be given to the parents in the coming days.

Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Dimapur Dr. Khriesasonuo extended her application to the NIEPID for bringing awareness to the people and requested to extend their services across the state in the days to come.

A total of 56 kits were provided to the beneficiaries.

Earlier the program was invoked by Chaplin, District Hospital, Dimapur Rev. Yhunlo Thong. The keynote address was delivered by Project Director Prodigal's Home and the program was chaired by MD (PMR) Senior specialist, in charge, DDRC Dr. Imlitemsu Ozuku.
