Dedication of Excavator meant for Tobu Town Council purchased through Basic Grants of Fourteenth Finance Commission was held on 9th September, 2021 at ADC Office Tobu with J. Tongpang, Pastor Tobu Town Baptist Church administering the act of dedication. Tsidi EAC Tobu chaired the programme.

NCS ADC & Administrator Tobu Town Council, Keyirangding Hegui in his keynote address highlighted the concept and purpose of procuring the Excavator, which was but to undertake development of the Town and the Sub division (clearance of drains, landslides, road maintenance etc) while at the same time generate revenue for undertaking various activities under Tobu Town Council. He also called upon the gathering and concerned Officials to maintain the property as one’s own and ensure accountability in its dealings.

Host of CSO Leaders including Konyak Union (Tobu Unit), Tobu Area Students’ Union, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (Tobu Unit), Tobu Town Students’ Union, including President, Ward Chairman Union, Head Gaonbura spoke on the occasion and expressed its heartfelt gratitude to Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland and Dr.Neikiesalie Nicky Kire, Advisor Municipal Affairs and Urban Development, Government of Nagaland under whose dynamic leadership and Government, the proposal has come to pass. It also extended its sincere appreciation to N. Bongkhao Konyak, MLA 55 A/C Tobu & Advisor DUDA, Government of Nagaland who remained steadfast to the need of the area and ensured all possible cooperation and support and to Department of Municipal Affairs, Government of Nagaland for considering and approving the Proposal and promptly making the funds available.

Earlier, Rev. Fr. Anthony Samy, Parish Priest Catholic Church Tobu offered the Invocation while Shellen, Pastor NCRC Tobu concluded the Program with a Prayer.
