Tseminyu District DPDB meeting was held on 17th June 2022 in the Official Chamber of Deputy Commissioner, with District Planning & Development Board Chairman, and Advisor, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services and Women Resources Development, R. Khing.
He welcomed all the new officers posted at Tseminyu. And he urged officers to give their best to the activities and make necessary proposals that were required for DPDB approval and asked the officers to review and update the latest development taken up in their respective departments and to make them available in the office for the public and share their problems.
Deputy Commissioner Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi IAS while chairing the programme welcomed ADC Tseminyu, Longasen Lotha and EAC Tumben Tsanglao.
He reviewed the last meeting minute for the up-gradation of the departments in the district, and the posting of various department officers were discussed. He said without acquiring land, there cannot be Development, and three rounds of discussions were held with the land owners. Creation of a new administrative headquarters in the district and the creation of an EAC post at Tseminyu were also discussed. President Rengma Hoho, Pollem Tep, and the Board resolved to nametag 'Tseminyu District' as "Historical District" as suggested by the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio on the inauguration Day of Tseminyu District. The Board agreed with SP Tseminyu to avoid speed breakers in NH2 and to maintain drainage within the Town area and NH2.
