TUENSANG DPDB MEETING HELD

Tuensang District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held at DC’s Conference Hall, Tuensang on 17th May 2022 under the Chairmanship of MLA Muthingnyuba Sangtam Chairman of DPDB Tuensang.

After reviewing the last meeting minutes, the house discussed the setting up of RSETI (Rural Self Employment Training Institute) as presented by a representative from BAN, Chingmak Chang. He stated that the Ministry of Rural Development provides financial aid to the lead bank for providing financial assistance and imparting training to unemployed youth in the country. The house directed the concerned department and manager of SBI Tuensang to come forward with proper arrangements at the earliest.

The House also recommended the construction of a new office building and official quarter of the District Employment Office, Tuensang. The board also decided to collect freewill contributions during the next meeting for Sao Chang College, Tuensang for basic needs at the college. Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant urged the PWD (NH) department to monitor the ongoing road construction of NH-202 and asked them to present the report at the next meeting.
