Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 held a meeting on 3rd June 2020 at DC Conference Hall Tuensang under the chairmanship of Kumar Ramnikant Deputy Commissioner and Chairman TDTF.
The DC acknowledged the donations by Kejong Chang and Toyang Changkong Chang, MLAs of Tuensang District to various stakeholders fighting against the global pandemic COVID 19. He also highlighted on the new revised SOP of the government discussed the changes thereof.
As per the new SOP Tuensang district liaison team was constituted comprising of one each from administration and police in officer ranks and presidents of dimapur based students body by default ie, Chang, Khiamniungan, sangtam and yimchunger student bodies to assist the liaison team.
As per the new SOP food for the respective district returnees shall be taken care off for which PD DRDA Tuensang has been assigned to handle the responsibility in consultation with the TDTF.
Dr. Moa, CMO Tuensang also reported on the swap sample collection of the inmates of the Chennai returnees kept at Sao Chang college quarantine facility for retest, and the house also decided to request for testing it in priority manner at the earliest.
In connection to the Chennai returnees the mental trauma they are going through due to delay in retest processes were also discussed and resulted in requesting Kohima to accept and test at the earliest to determine and streamline the status of the returnees.
The new SOP also meant that the asymptomatic returnees of respective districts to been send off to districts for which traveling matters were also discussed.
The Chang Gazetted Officers Association pledged to donate 2 lakhs rupees earmarked to purchase the reagents to be used in Trunat machine when it arrives at the district as promised by the government.
