Joining the rest of the country in commemorating 75 years of Indian Independence 'Azadika Amrit Mahotsav, Dimapur Police on 14th August 2021 organized a "Two Wheeler Rally For Road Safety".

The participants consisting of more than 50 riders drawn from officers and personnel of Traffic Zone -I &II carried placards with important messages on road safety. The aim was to create mass awareness on road safety and to encourage drivers and riders to choose safe driving. 

The rally was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS, from State Stadium Dimapur, after which the rally proceeded covering through the Dimapur town area and the NH - 29 and culminated at Traffic control zone -II Chumoukedima.
