UDD ORGANISES ACTIVITIES AS PART OF AKA

In commemoration of 75 years of progressive India, the Urban Development Department has undertaken various activities such as wall paintings, beautification of roundabouts (Chaurahas), and also organized competitions such as Essay writing, Photography, and Drawing in all the 39 ULBs across the State. The Department also organized cleanliness drives, street play, capacity building, and IEC activities as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM)

As part of AKAM, the State through UDD initiated competition for "Cleanest ULBs and Wards Awards 2022" with special emphasis on "Plastic Free-Vis-a-Vis Single-Use Plastics" Under the theme 'Resolve@75'. Field assessment and verification in all the 39 ULBs have been completed and the results will be announced shortly.
