The 43rd Zunheboto District Open Volleyball Running Trophy, organised by Black Panthers Club Akuluto, kick started on 13th October 2021 at BPC ground, Akuluto with Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo as the special guest.

         Lichamo urged the participants to maintain a disciplined attitude in every works of life, which is also the most important attribute in the field of sports. Being a sincere sportsperson also adds to living a healthy life, physically and mentally, he added while delivering his speech at the inaugural function. The DC also congratulated the event organizers for continuously organising the prestigious tournament for a long period of time.

      Altogether, 16 teams are vying for the coveted trophy which will culminate on the 15th October 2021.
