Department of Rural Development, Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Meluri Block in collaboration with administrative department launched Weekly Bazaar at Meluri on 4th February 2022.

The programme was initiated in order to boost and encourage local farmers of Meluri Sub-division and Pochury society as a whole. Various SHGs have been enthusiastic and efforts were given to produce agro based by-products. Hence, exclusively one day in a week was scheduled for promotion and sale of the products of the SHGs.

Earlier, EAC Lephory, C. Tsalimse Sangtam and President Pochury Mother's Association, Sürhothsü delivered a short speech. Secretary BLF, Luozhiesü chaired the program. The inaugural program was also attended by the public leaders and SHGs Members of Meluri Block.
