In Wokha district under Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan IAS all logistics arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth and successful conduct of the election.
Altogether Wokha district has 215 polling stations, 32 Polling stations under 37th Tyui A/C, 60 P/S under 38th Wokha A/C, 40 P/S under 39th Sanis A/C and 83 polling stations under 40th Bhandari Assembly Constituencies. Out of 215 polling stations online webcasting will be done in 114 (One hundred fourteen) polling stations, whereas 22 polling stations will be done through offline webcasting. In 44 (forty-four) polling stations, all women polling parties/teams will be manning the polling stations which will go to poll on the 27th of February 2023.
More than 400 (four hundred) different types of vehicles are being requisitioned for the 14th NLA election for the Wokha district. Polling personnel which will cover 215 polling stations have moved out from district headquarters on the 26th of February 2023 to their respective polling stations.
