Wokha District Administration and DLCW-MSK organised Beti Bachao Beti Padhao week on 23rd January 2021 at Deputy Commissioners Conference Hall, Wokha. The programme was attended by adolescent girls and Bharat Guides.

During the programme, Thungbeni Kikon Case Worker, One Stop Centre-Sakhi dwelled on the topic POSCO Act while EAC (P) Vitolu Chishi spoke on the importance of girl child and on the significance of National Girl child week, where he stated that the day aims at promoting awareness about the rights of girl child and to provide opportunities and support to a girl child.
