World Consumer Right Day was observed at Changtongya Town which was held at GA Rest House Changtongya Town on 15th March 2021. The programme was organised by Changtongya Multi Purpose Co-Operative Society Ltd. in collaboration with the Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Kohima.

            Theme speaker Moakumzuk Tzudir SDO (C) Changtongya highlighted on the importance of observing the World Consumer Right Day and the right of the consumer. He said that the Government protects all consumers in the country under the new Consumer Protection Act 2019 and further called upon all to spread the awareness of consumer right.

            The programme was chaired by Y.N.Alem Secretary MPCS Ltd Changtongya, who also delivered the welcome speech, while vote thanks was delivered by O.Purlemba Chairman MPCS Ltd Changtongya.
