The Directorate of Youth Resources & Sports has informed all the Tribal Hohos of Nagaland that for the ensuing Hornbill Festival 2021 Indigenous Games have been included as part of the celebration. Hence to facilitate participation in the Indigenous Games competition, the under mentioned relevant information are disseminated for pre preparations. 

I.          Criteria:

1.         Traditional Shot Put (Men only)         -           1 (one) participant from each tribe.

2.         Stilt Bamboo Walk race (Men only)   -           1 (one) Participant from each tribe. Stilt

Bamboos are to be arranged by the participants.

3.         Tug of War (Both Men & Women)    -           8 (eight) participants for each category.

And shall be played on knock out basis.

II.        Date & Timing of Competition:

Sl. No. 1 & 2 will be held on the 5th and 6th of December, 2021 respectively from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM. And serial No. 3 will be played on 7th of December, 2021 by 10:00 AM onwards and Games will be held at the Amphitheater. Cash Awards will be given to the winners.
