As COVID-19 has affected the normal living of the people, Zeme Youth Organization Nagaland visited Peren Town on 20th April 2020 to ensure that basic needs and commodities are sold as per price rate issued by the District administration. 

ZYON also visited District Hospital Peren and appreciated the extra work rendered by the Medical staff under Medical Superintendent Dr. Hatling, ZYON expressed concern seeing the poor infrastructure despite being declared as District Hospital decade back. 

In a review meeting chair by Deputy Commissioner Peren Sentiwapang Aier where Opposition leader T.R. Zeliang, various HoDs, frontal NGOs leaders attended, ZYON acknowledged the District Administration, Police Department and Medical Department for all their selfless service combating the global pandemic, at the same time requested the concerned authority to maintain transparency implementing all relief fund sanction for Peren District. 

Furthermore ZYON also encouraged the public to cooperate and follow safety guidelines and precautions with a motto "We Conquer Together".
