The monthly meeting of district planning and development board (DPDB) was held on 9th March, 2021 at DC’s Conference Hall. The meeting was chaired by ADC, Renbomo Ezung.

          The gathering deliberated on setting a public park at Zunheboto and the board decided that a search committee will be formed and the search committee will identify various locations to set up the public park.

            Chairman Zunheboto DPDB, K.T. Sukhalu asked the administration to assist the ongoing two-lane road construction so that no obstruction arises and that work goes smoothly. Sukhalu asked the administration to furnish the names of the officials who has never attended the planning board meeting so that strict action will be taken against them.

            District Agriculture Officer presented the various activities carried out by the department under IFAD, which includes distribution of 30 tonnes of kharif to 100 villages, 15 tonnes of rabi crops to 100 villages and creation of 40 water harvesting ponds at 40 villages.
