The monthly Zunheboto District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 8th June 2022 at Town Hall Zunheboto.

Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Zunheboto and Vice-Chairman DPDB Rahul Bhanudas Mali IAS congratulated all the Heads of Offices for the successful conduct of the tree plantation drive held in the district.

A review of the last month's meeting was read out by APO Zunheboto. The meeting finalized the LADP 2022-23 for the district.

In the meeting, the date for the forthcoming Interdepartmental Sports was fixed for 21st to 23rd June 2022 for which the Deputy Commissioner sought cooperation from all the HODs.

EAC Aghunato apprised the members present on the grievances faced at Aghunato Sub Division, the EAC HQ at Hoshepu requires office and it is an urgent need for the service of the public in the area. A resting shed for tourists was also needed at the Hoshepu war memorial site. NAP outpost at Hoshepu is also needed for the safety of the people. The sub-center also needs up-gradation to PHC at the earliest, the EAC said.

Later Powerpoint presentation was presented by the Water Resources department where they highlighted the activities of the department in the district and DAPCU Zunheboto. Hokishe Chophy, DPO, DAPCU spoke on the need for a proper blood bank at Zunheboto and that the district should pursue the license of a blood bank in the district and also informed that a blood donation drive will be held at Zunheboto on 14th June 2022.
