The 9th edition of the Inter-Departmental Tournament, organized by District Sports Council Zunheboto (DSCZ), culminated at district headquarters on 23rd July 2022.

The three-day event consisted of two games, Badminton and Carrom. Inato Zhimo from School Education Department emerged as the champion defeating DPO, David Sema of District Planning Office (DPO) in the Men's Singles event. In the Men's Doubles event finals, Inato Zhimo and Shikalu Sumi of School Education defeated Er David Achumi and Samuel K. Achumi of DRDA. In the Women's Badminton Singles Final, Kengbame of DEF Zunheboto became the champion after beating Likabo Assumi of DSCO. In carrom, Tohoshe Awomi and Xünivi Sema representing PHED were the champions, and Kiboto H and Gideon Yeptho of CMO settled as runners-up.
