A coordination meeting of the Tening Sub-division Examination Centre Committee was held at Government Higher Secondary School Tening on 3rd February 2025.The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner & Chairman of the Examination Centre Committee Tening, K Furhesie Nyuwi.
The following agendas were discussed and resolved.
Security arrangements/ action to be taken by OC Police Station Tening, Contribution of money by village councils and Tening Town council for transporting of answers scripts to Peren Post office. The contribution shall be made through the VCC union President for the village councils and shall be completed by 7th February 2025 positively.
In order to help outstation students from GHS Nsong, one Forest Department quarter has been arranged for accommodation. The Assam Rifles Tening, as requested, has come forward to provide water from the water tanker in two locations namely Forest department quarter housing HSLC students and HSLC Centre at GHSS Tening. The house also requested the Power Department to ensure uninterrupted power supply during this period.
To maintain peaceful atmosphere during the examination period the Tening Town ward councillors, GBs and Tening Town youth Organisations (TTYO) will take necessary measures to ensure a peaceful environment.
The house further requested to avoid any program or events during the examination schedule which tends to disturb the students.
