ADC & Chairman (SDTF) for COVID-19 Tseminyu, W.Manpai Phom, has informed with regard to activation of community surveillance on COVID-19 and village surveillance Team, the following actions for Tseminyu sub-division are required to be undertaken:

1. Urgent setting up and activation of village surveillance Team compromising of members from ASHA workers from Health Department, Angawati workers from Social Welfare Department and SHG from NSRLM/RD department which will work to identify anyone in the village with Influenza Like Illness (ILI), Severe Acute Respiratory illness (SARI) including fever, cough and difficulty in breathing should report onward.SMOTseminyu along with MOs Chunlikha&Tesophenyu to collaborate with CDPO Tseminyu,BDO Tseminyu and BDO Chunlikha to activate the VST for further necessary action.
2. Activation of community surveillance team in the Sub-division through coordinated participation and reports of the respective village surveillance team and the liaison committee as well. Community surveillance for the Sub-division to be under the supervision of the SDTF,Tseminyu. SMO Tseminyu along with the MOs Chunlikha and Tesophenyu to initiate the activation of community surveillance including work out the requirement and modalities of block supervisors with reports to be submitted to Tseminyu (SDTF).
