Deputy Commissioner Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS notified the citizens of Mon District that Vegetation Clearance for 132kV and 66kV Transmission Lines under Transmission Division Mokokchung is scheduled from 26th Oct' 2026 to 28t11Nov' 2026. In this regard, there will be a total shutdown of power from 08:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily in order to facilitate smooth execution of the works. For Mon District the Schedule date is 09th - 14th Nov. 2026, Name of Feeders: 66kV Mkg-Tuli T/L, 66kV Tuli-Naginimora T/L, 66kV Naginimora-Tizit T/L, 66kV Tizit-Mon T/L, Affected areas were Changtongya Sub-Div, Tuli, Sub-Div, Longleng & Mon District.

This exercise is necessitated with the aim to provide stable power supply and avoid unwarranted disruption of supply. The department appeals to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
