The Department of Public Health Engineering, Kiphire division marked the launch of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', ahead of fifty eight weeks of 75th anniversary of Indian Independence on 6th July 2021.

Marking the anniversary, the Department organised cleanliness drive and tree plantation activities at main water source at Yingshikiur village under Kiphire division. The department officials along with village community took active participation in the drive. The department stated that such events would continue till 14th August and would be conducting various activities in the coming days.

The officials expressed their gratitude towards the village community for their active participation and also encouraged them to continuously check their water source in order to consume safe water.
