The full text is as follows :

 

“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 845. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 845 positive cases, the total active cases are 505, and 340 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 490 active cases are asymptomatic and 15 active cases are mild.

Till date, a total of 16,656 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 16,214 samples have been received. Out of the 16,656 samples, a total of 12,338 samples have been sent for testing at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and at the BSL-2 lab at the CIHSR, Dimapur and out of which 698 samples have tested positive.

In addition a total of 10,257 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 9,619 samples have tested negative, and 305 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

 

A total of 3330 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
