BRIEFING ON COVID-19 ON 14th OF NOVEMBER 2020 FOR NAGALAND BY PRINCIPAL SECRETARY, HOME

The full text is as follows:

 

“As regards the total number of COVID-19 cases detected today, it is 112 cases- 2 in Kohima, 109 in Dimapur and 1 in Mon. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 9,750.

Out of the 9,750 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 8,794. The active cases are 805 and there have been 46 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 757 active cases are asymptomatic, 21 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical without oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 9,750 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 4,099 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,730 cases of Returnees, 3,449 cases of Traced Contacts and 472 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 65,576 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 64,247 samples have been received. In addition, a total 34,897 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 34,816 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 5,094 samples have been tested.”
