The full text is follows:

“The total number of positive cases in the State, as on today stands at 902. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 902 positive cases, the total active cases are 554, and 348 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 539 active cases are asymptomatic and 15 active cases are mild.

Till date, a total of 17,127 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. Results of 16,802 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 10,895 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat. 10278 samples have tested negative, and 327 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.

A total of 2,953 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
