The full text is as follows: 

“A total of 94 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 23 in Kohima, 55 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung, 9 in Mon, 2 in Peren and 3 in Zunheboto. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 7,698.

Out of the 7,698 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 6,076. The active cases are 1,529 and there have been 21 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,469 active cases are asymptomatic, 43 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 1 active case is severe on oxygen, 2 active cases are critical with oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilators.

Further, out of 7,698 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,436 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,597 cases of Returnees, 2,284 cases of Traced Contacts and 381 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 56,908 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 55,722 samples have been received. In addition, a total 31,389 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 31,335 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 2,678 samples have been tested.”
