The full text is as follows:
“A total of 137 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 19 in Kohima, 114 in Dimapur, 2 in Mon, 1 in Tuensang and 1 in Kiphire. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 7,953.
Out of the 7,953 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 6,207. The active cases are 1,652 and there have been 21 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,581 active cases are asymptomatic, 51 active cases are mild, 11 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 5 active cases are severe on oxygen, 1 active case is critical with oxygen and 3 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of 7,953 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 3,536 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,607 cases of Returnees, 2,423 cases of Traced Contacts and 387 cases of Frontline Workers.
A total of 57,532 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 56,674 samples have been received. In addition, a total 31,713 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 31,683 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 2,797 samples have been tested.”
