The Full Text is as Follows:

“A total of 35 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today – 10 in Kohima, 23 in Dimapur, and 2 in Zunheboto. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 5,392.

Out of the 5,392 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 4,150. The active cases are 1,208 and there have been 10 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 1,190 active cases are asymptomatic, 14 active cases are mild and 2 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the 5,392 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are:  2,513 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,434 cases of Returnees, 324 cases of Frontline Workers and 1,121 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 46,294 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 45,561 samples have been received. In addition, a total of 26,330 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 26,286 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, 1,258 samples have been tested.

A total 576 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine”.
