The Full Text is as Follows:

 

“A total of 14 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today and the total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 4,017. Active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.

Out of the 4,017 positive cases, the total active cases are 785 and there are 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 779 active cases are asymptomatic and 6 active cases are mild.

Further, out of the 4,017 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are:  1,708 cases from Armed Forces, 1,272 cases from Returnees, 291 cases of Frontline Workers and 746 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 39,368 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 38,133 samples have been received. On Truenat, a total of 23,561 samples have been sent for testing, and results for 23, 449 have been received. In addition through Rapid Antigen Test, results for 822 samples have been received.  

A total of 1,138 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine”.
