“As regard the total number of COVID-19 cases detected today, it is 63 cases- 16 in Kohima, 41 in Dimapur, 3 in Mon, 2 in Mokokchung and 1 in Peren. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 9,327.

Out of the 9,327 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 8,195. The active cases are 997 and there have been 39 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms 932 active cases are asymptomatic, 39 active cases are mild, 10 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 9 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical without oxygen and 4 active cases are on ventilator.

Further, out of 9,327 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 4,019 cases of Armed Forces/ Police, 1,669 cases of Returnees, 3,181 cases of Traced Contacts and 458 cases of Frontline Workers.

A total of 63,824 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 62,529 samples have been received. In addition, a total 34,085 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and results of 34,083 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test 4,325 samples have been tested.”
