The full text is as follows:
“Today 13 new cases have been tested positive for COVID-19. The total positive cases in the state as of today now stands at 107.
Out of the 107 positive cases, 8 have recovered after treatment in COVID-19 hospital.
Till date a total of 3,959 samples have been tested. The results of 2,619 samples have been received out of which 107 are positive as mentioned above. The results of 1,340 samples are awaited. Through the Truenat testing machine so far a total of 102 samples have been tested and all are negative.
A total of 4,983 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.
A Cabinet meeting was held today and a detailed briefing on the COVID-19 situation was given by the Health & Family Welfare and the Home Departments. The provisions of the SOP for the returnees to Nagaland and the measures being taken for further streamlining the entire management of the Quarantine Centres were also discussed. The Health Department also gave a briefing on the health status of the positive cases undergoing treatment at the COVID-19 hospitals.
The Special Train that left Bengaluru on the 2nd of June 2020 with stranded persons from Nagaland arrived Dimapur yesterday with 1,499 persons. From Himachal Pradesh, 41 passengers in 2 buses reached the State today. Further, 88 passengers in 3 buses from Chandigarh, and 165 passengers in 6 buses from Uttar Pradesh are reaching the State this evening.
I would to inform that the One Time Financial Assistance of Rs 10,000 to persons from Nagaland stranded outside the state, and those who have decided to voluntarily stay back in their respective places has been paid to 14, 943 persons amounting to 14.94 crore.”
