The Full Text is as Follows:

 

“A total of 25 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected today in the State- 21 in Kohima, 2 in Mon, 1 in Mokokchung and 1 in Kiphire. The total number of positive cases in the State now stands at 4,245.

Out of the 4,245 positive cases, the total recoveries so far are 3,728. The active cases are 496 and there have been 8 deaths. As per the severity of symptoms, 485 active cases are asymptomatic, 8 active cases are mild and 3 active cases are moderate.

Further, out of the 4,245 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people are: 1,823 cases of Armed Forces, 1,312 cases of Returnees, 309 cases of Frontline Workers and 801 cases of Traced Contacts.

A total of 42,339 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and results of 41,173samples have been received. On Truenat, a total of 24,384 samples have been sent for testing, and results of 24,374 samples have been received. Through Rapid Antigen Test, results of 897 samples have been received. In all 66, 444 samples have been tested so far.

A total of 859 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine”.
