The full text is as follows:
“As on today, the total number of positive cases in the State stands at 673. All the positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
Out of the 673 positive cases, the total active cases are 369, and 304 have recovered. As per the severity of symptoms, 368 active cases are asymptomatic and 1 case is moderate.
Till date, a total of 15,062 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR. The results of 14,214 samples have been received. Out of the 15,062 samples, 9,626 samples have been received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK) and a total of 9,381 samples have been tested, out of which 480 samples have tested positive. A total of 8,694 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat also. 8,232 samples have tested negative, and 238 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.
A Special Train which originated from Bengaluru, Karnataka on 6th of July 2020 carrying about 307 stranded persons of Nagaland reached Dimapur today at about 8.00 A.M. in the morning.”
