CEO Nagaland Abhijit Sinha has stated that with the announcement of Bye Election to be held on November 3 for the 60- Pungro-Kiphire AC, and for 14th Southern Angami AC under Kohima District, the Model Code of Conduct has come into force in entire Kohima District except for the areas under Kohima Municipal council other than ward NO.5 Kitsubozou (Chotobosti) and in the entire Kiphire District with immediate effect and will be in force till the completion of the Election process.

In this connection, the CEO has informed that the ECI has instructed regarding release of fund under the MPs /MLAs local area development scheme which will be subject to restrictions.
