Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, has expressed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, for sanctioning the new Medical College at Mon, in Nagaland. This will go a long way in fulfilling the needs of the far flung districts of the state as well as other neighbouring States like Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, a release stated.

He further sought the Ministry’s assistance for putting in place a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model for professional and efficient management of the project.

Rio also extended an invitation to Vardhan to lay the foundation stone of this project, while thanking him for his continued support and cooperation in implementation of the project.
