In connection with deterioration of Changtongnyah-Longleng road by monsoon the district administration had conveyed a coordination meeting of the District administration, Police, EE (PED) & EE (NH) Longleng,  President PPC, President PSC, President Phomla Hoichen, President Chamber of commerce, President Driver's Union and all vehicle owners today at DC's conference hall. 

After briefing by the Deputy Commissioner and ADC, Longleng explaining the importance and poor condition of the road the house decided to find ways and means to repair and renovated only the worse portion before the two-lane firm commenced their work.

The drivers' union was entrusted to verify the locations for repairing while the Chamber of commerce and vehicle owners will contribute stones/boulder, the district administration will provide fuel and the NGOs will supervise the work. 

The EE (PWD) informed on the status of the paper works for tender and its delay due to lockdown while the President PPC and the PSC suggested measures for renovation and assured to provide full cooperation and all possible assistance for improvement of the work.
