On the 2nd day of the Cultural Day of Hornbill Bill festival, 2022 at Kisama, Special Guest, Ravi Bhatnagar, Director, External Affairs South Asia Office (SAO) wished the people of Nagaland a happy festival during the "Festival of Festivals" celebration. He said that as a representative of Reckitt, the department has recognized that a healthy adolescent is a key to a healthier and happier future. He said that the holistic understanding coupled with the coordination of the people and Reckitt has translated into a robust programme and that the centre has actively participated in a partnership with the state government. He requested the government to provide continuous support to implement the programmes and help in educating the young adolescents between the age of 10 to 19 years of age and help them grow up with life skill education. He also said that the department is glad to be the health partner during this iconic hornbill festival and said that the festival is the ideal platform to reach out to the youths of the state who in turn will enable to create healthier, happier, and progressive India.

The host of the festival was Tongpang Ozukum, Minister, of Housing and Mechanical, co-host Mmhonlumo Kikon, Advisor Information and Technology, Science & Technology, New & Renewable Technology.

Cultural performances by the following troupes/ groups were performed during the morning function: Angami Cultural Troupe (Jakhama Village)- Melo Phita (folk dance); Ao Cultural Troupe- Benjongbentsü Yar (Festive Dance); Chakhesang Cultural Troupe- Roce (folk dance); Zeliang Kohima Base- Nagaland Deu Lim; Sumi Cultural Troupe (Surumi Cultural Society, Kohima)- Sumi war dance; Pochury Cultural Troupe- War dance (Folk Dance); Lotha (Kohima Base)- Naga Liphongtsu Shancho Khen (song & dance) and Rengma (Kohima Base)- Kaghaka men Keya (traditional marriage song).

In the afternoon session, General Officer Commanding 101 Arena, Lt. General KC Panchanathan was the Special Guest. Cultural dances were performed by various cultural troupes- the Lotha Cultural Troupe performed Ritso Shari, a war dance while the Rengma Cultural Troupe presented a folk song, Akhu Kedelie. Kuki Cultural Troupe performed Lorn Lam, a folk dance; Garo Cultural Troupe presented Wangala Dance and the Zeliang Cultural Troupe performed Herielim, a Hornbill dance. Kachari Cultural Troupe presented Kram Jang Mai Duba, a folk dance; the Angami troupe Dizhü pfhe, a "working in the field" song and the Chakhesang troupe presented Cirüphe and Thünyephe, Feast of Merit festival dance.
