Deputy Commissioner & The District Election Officer, Mon informed the citizen that in view of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls, 2026, and with reference to the Press Note of the Election Commission of India No. ECI/PN/120/2026 dated 26h September, 2026, as communicated by the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, vide Letter No. ELE/IT-REV/14/2025/Pt dated 28th September, 2026, it is informed that all hearings scheduled up to the present date at the designated venues shall stand cancelled.

In cases where the concerned Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) considers a hearing necessary under exceptional circumstances, the same shall be arranged separately. The date, time and mode of hearing, whether physical or online, shall be communicated to the concerned electors through the Booth Level Officer (BLO) in due course. Meanwhile, the collection of requisite documents from electors identified as unmapped or having logical discrepancies shall continue without interruption. The documents collected shall be duly uploaded in the BLO App as per the prescribed procedure.
