Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer, Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS, informed all the concerned citizens that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll in Nagaland with 1st October 2026 as the qualifying date is currently underway. As part of the revision process, various preparatory activities and capacity building programmes are being conducted across the State to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the exercise.
As part of Phase-III of the revision process, SIR Help Desks, staffed, have been established with dedicated personnel along with designated helpline numbers to assist the public. The Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland has also conducted a series of meeting and training programmes for District Election Officers, EROs, AEROs, BLO Supervisors, BLOs, BLAs and other stakeholders across their respective District. Regular review meetings and monitoring will continue at all levels to ensure effective and timely completion of the revision process.
