DC KOHIMA INFORMS

Gregory Thejawelie, NCS,  Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed that in the interest of Public Service and Safety, all private water tankers not possessing necessary Permit issued by the Kohima Municipal Council have been banned from plying with immediate effect.

Further, the following guidelines are to be strictly followed by the Drivers and handymen of the permitted private water tankers:

1. No passengers will be allowed except for the driver and handyman.
2. The vehicle should be properly sanitized.
3. No other articles/materials should be carried except water.
4. The driver and handyman should wear hand gloves, mask and use sanitizers at all times.
