Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 person residing at the following locations viz. Lower Chandmari (Ward No. 13), Upper P.R Hill (Ward No. 19) and Lower Forest Colony (Ward No. 17), the area defined below is demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing. .

All movement of person/vehicles within the defined Sealed Area is strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance with immediate effect.

Demarcated Area:

1.         Lower Chandmari (Ward No. 13)

East : Wednesday Market Main road

West :  Footpath near Gorkha Public Panchayat

South :  Main road neat Govt. Press

North :  Circular Road (footpath)

2.         Upper P.R Hill (Ward No. 19)

East : Footpath/ Retaining wall near PHQ

West :  Footpath near Fire and Emergency Service office.

South :  Footpath towards PHQ

North :  Cultural Hall footpath

3.         Lower Forest Colony (Ward No. 17)

East : Drain

West : Colony main road

South :L.Kozaresd
