In a partial modification to the earlier order dated 6th July 2020 issued by the Deputy Commissioner Longleng, the timing for entry of vehicles bringing essential commodities from Assam is hereby relaxed and entry of such vehicles will be permitted between 03:00 pm to 06:00 am.

Further, owners of such commodities have been directed to ensure that occupants (Driver/Handyman/Helper) of such vehicles remain inside the vehicle on entry to the district/exit from the district and also during unloading of commodities.

Non compliance to the aformentioned Directives and all other Standard 0perating procedures in existence to contain and control the spread of the Coronavirus will invite immediate cancellation of permit/permits and also strict legal actions as per relevant sections of the existing laws in force.

This order will come into effect from 15th of July 2020.
