In the general interest of public, Deputy Commissioner Monhas informed that no vehicular blockade can be erected on National/State Highways inside Mon District.This is essential to facilitate uninterrupted flow of essential commodities and services.The sealing of borders of the district is exempt from the purview of this order.

In another notification the Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS has informed that the District Administration has decided to deliver water at the doorsteps in order to tackle the shortage of water. The rate has been fixed at Rs. 500 for 1000 litres.
