Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS in an order has notified the enforcement of a Total Lockdown from 4th August, 2020, 5 PM- 10th August, 2020 in Aboi Sub-Division under Mon District with the following conditions:

1.     Movement of public is strictly prohibited except in medical emergencies.

2.     Movement of private vehicles is strictly prohibited.

3.     All Business/Commercial Establishments and Shops shall remain closed. Pharmacies are exempted.

4.     Not more than 20 persons will be permitted in case of funerals.

5.     No movement will be permitted in or out of Aboi Sub-Division.

The Total Lockdown has been enforced in light of certain emerging circumstances and with a view to contain the spread of COVID-19. People are requested to kindly comply with this order. Any person found violating this order will be penalised under relevant provisions of the law.
