In view of the detection of positive cases of COVID-19 among those sent for home quarantine at Dobashi Colony, Jalukie town and its adjoining areas and Ward number 5, Tening town and in pursuance of the Standard Operating Protocols (SoP) issued by the Govt. of Nagaland, Deputy Commissioner of Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS on 2nd July, 2020 has immediately declared the aforementioned areas as Containment Zones.

Further, DC Peren directed the concerned area Administrative Officer/Sub-Divisional Task Force for COVID-19 to immediately ensure the containment of the affected area and effectively demarcate and barricade the containment zone in-order to prevent community spread of COVID-19. 

In addition, the DC also advised the Medical Department to immediately commence contact tracing and other medical protocols.
