The Deputy Commissioner and Chairman Regional Transport Authority Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa informed all eligible candidates for allotment of Two-wheeler Taxi Permit under the Transport Department Notification No. TPT/MV/14/2018 Dated 13-08-2019. The Two-wheeler Taxi Permit is being allotted with the objectives of promoting Self-employment opportunities among unemployed indigenous Inhabitants of Tuensang District.

The Eligibility Criteria - The applicant must be an Indigenous Inhabitants of Tuensang District, the age Limit is from 20 to 40 years as on the last submission and must possess a valid Driving Licence.

The Application Process: The application form may be obtained from the Office of Deputy Commissioner Tuensang on payment of 100/- Rupees only with effect from 18th September 2026. The last date for submission of duly filled application is 1st October 2026. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected.

The Documents Required: Indigenous Inhabitants certificate/ Permanent Resident Certificate of Tuensang District; A valid Driving Licence; Unemployment Certificate issued by the District Employment Officer; Government issue Identify Proof- Aadhaar Card/ Voters ID/ PAN Card etc.

The list of shortlisted candidates for Riding/ Driving test will be displayed on the notice board of the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Tuensang and District Transport Office Tuensang on 6th October 2026.
