Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant IAS has issued the following directives for strict compliance: 1. Shops selling essential commodities, vegetables, fish/meat vendors, milk booths, bakeries, local grocery stores, hardware, animal feed in all locations shall be open from 6:00 AM to 12:00 noon. Shopping of essential commodities shall be regulated through one card one household system. The shopping card for each household shall be issued by the respective ward authorities. Further, the public is advised to shop their essential needs from their respective colonies. 2. Hotel for lodging shall operate with minimum staff and maintain strict adherence to COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour. COVID - 19 negotiate test shall be mandatory in any hotel/lodge/guest house. Restaurants/hotels shall remain closed for dining-in, however, home delivery shall be permitted. 3. Contraction activities at ward/colony/sector/Village level and engagement of daily labourers/daily wage earners thereof shall be regulated and monitored by respective ward/colony/sector and Village authorities. Labourers already present at the construction sites shall be engaged and no new labourers from outside the district shall be allowed. 4. All agriculture and allied activities shall be allowed and persons engaged in such activities shall be permitted to proceed to their fields/farm between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and return back between 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 5. Movement of persons of 18 years and above to avail vaccination shall be exempted subject to certification strictly for the said purpose by the concerned ward/colony/sector authorities. Any found in violation of this order shall be penalised as per the relevant provisions of law besides legal action under Section 188 of IPC. (DPRO Tuensang)
