In pursuance of Government Notification NO.DSE/MINORITIES/24-6/2018 Dated Kohima, the 15th September 2020, the Directorate of School Education has informed that all NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATES issued up to 14th September, 2020 for establishment of Educational Institutions for the purpose of Section 10 of the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions Act 2004 and the Minority Status granted to Educational Institutions for the purpose of Section12B of the said Act are hereby revoked with immediate effect.

            Those Educational Institutions established and administered by a member/ members from the religious minority communities- Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsee and Jain in the State of Nagaland and fulfilling the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions may apply for No Objection Certificate/ Minority Status in the prescribed format available at the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland, Kohima.
