Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland Abhijit Sinha has issued the report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential goods and services over the state as on 14th April 2020.
According to the report there were 9 persons violated the lock down order in the state. Due to the violations 4 persons were bound down under Cr PC 106/107 and five persons were bound down under non FIR Bond of remedial steps against the violations.
In regard to essential goods it also said that all the districts in the state have been covered with the supply of essential goods and all the shops opened in all the districts except Kiphire and Kohima shops are opened on alternate days and Mokokchung shops are opened, but regulated on lock down it added. All the Medicine and milk shops also opened in all the district.
The report also said that the arrangement been made for providing food & shelter to the migrants worker effected by covid-19. The report stated that 5 relief camps has sheltering the 367 persons functioning in Dimapur & Kohima. About 26800 (Twenty six thousand eight hundred) were given food grains and dry rations by district Administration and NGOs. Around 7000 persons were provided food by their employees industry. Permits have issued to commercial vehicles transporting essential commodities
